How many generations of people have lived on this earth? I don’t suppose anyone knows for sure, but it is a great many indeed. One of the greatest responsibilities each generation carries is the need to pass the baton of life to those who follow. Our Creator has invested in us the great responsibility of protecting and nurturing children, and guiding them toward full maturity. For example, we need to pass along a lot of practical wisdom about life, and give them sound moral guidance. But as Christians, we also carry the added responsibility of pointing them to the great Creator of all things. It is only in relationship with him that they will come to understand the purpose for their lives, and the destiny made possible for them through the life and work of Jesus Christ.
This section of our website is devoted to youth – their questions, concerns, hopes and dreams. May it provide encouragement, inspiration, and guidance to any who may visit.

The highlight of our Youth Ministry year is our two regional summer camps. These camps have a long history of providing an environment for Christ-centred relationships, life-changing experiences resulting from new challenges and new opportunities.
In the West, we offer a one week experience at Camp Silver Meadows. Camp Director, Jenny Straub, a former camper herself, understands the importance of providing a positive Christian experience, 24 hours a day, for 7 days.
Camp Siver Meadows is snuggled within a beautiful 80-acre parcel of boreal forest. The focus of camp is to help our youth develop a relationship with our Lord and Savior and to teach them the foundation upon which they can build their faith. Spiritual enrichment classes emphasize various aspects of living a Christ centered life and addresses issues that the campers may be struggling with as they progress through the challenging teen years.
An atmosphere of support, caring and forgiveness is prevalent at Silver Meadows. Moms are everyone’s mom and everyone can be counted upon to lend a hand of support or a word of encouragement. Staff return year after year in the true spirit of service, sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Camp is always something to look forward to and talk about for months after. Hope to see you there.
